Cutaneous melanoma is the most aggressive form of skin cancer and is particularly resistant to current treatments. Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is a well-known photoprocess used to treat certain cancers, including non-melanoma skin cancer. The photosensitizer aluminum chlorides phthalocyanine (ClAlPc) is used in PDT; however, its high hydrophobicity limits its photodynamic activity under physiological conditions. The goal of this study was to use direct emulsification to create solid lipid nanoparticles (SLN) containing ClAlPc. ClAlPc-loaded SLNs (ClAlPc/SLNs) were studied in vitro in B16-F10 melanoma cells for particle size and distribution, zeta potential, morphology, encapsulation efficiency, stability, and phototoxic action. Although the power conversion efficiency (PCE) of organic solar cells ( OSCs ) based on small molecule acceptors (SMAs) has been significantly improved, their long-term stability is not sufficient for commercialization. Recently, Yun-Hi Kim, Bumjoon J. Kim of Gyeongsang University, and Bumjoon J. Kim of Korea Institute of Science and Technology used dimer small molecule acceptors to realize efficient and stable organic solar cells . The authors found that dimerization of SMA can significantly enhance the stability of SMA-based OSCs, and dimeric SMA (DYBO) can obtain OSCs with high PCE (>18%), which enables them to outperform their monomeric counterparts based on MYBO. Impact of Precursor Concentration on Perovskite Crystallization for Efficient Wide-Bandgap Solar Cells

High-crystalline-quality wide-bandgap metal halide perovskite materials that achieve superior performance in perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have been widely explored. Precursor concentration plays a crucial role in the wide-bandgap perovskite crystallization process. Herein, we investigated the influence of precursor concentration on the morphology, crystallinity, optical property, and defect density of perovskite materials and the photoelectric performance of solar cells. We found that the precursor concentration was the key factor for accurately controlling the nucleation and crystal growth process, which determines the crystallization of perovskite materials. The precursor concentration based on Cs0.05FA0.8MA0.15Pb(I0.84Br0.16)3 perovskite was controlled from 0.8 M to 2.3 M. The perovskite grains grow larger with the increase in concentration, while the grain boundary and bulk defect decrease.
